Jane Riddiford - Executive Director
Jane co-founded Global Generation in 2004 and supported the organisation as a trustee until August 2006, when she was appointed as Executive Director. For the past 20 years she developed and delivered environmental and arts projects in the UK. She worked for two years as School Grounds Consultant for the New Zealand Education department, five years as Horticulture Co-ordinator and NVQ Trainer at Camden Jobtrain and six years as General Manager of Rise Phoenix.
Chris Gorman - Campsite Manager
After leaving school in South London Chris worked on a dairy farm for three years before studying animal husbandry. In 1982 he moved to Dorset and worked on his cousin's farm and with a local carpenter for a few years before re-training as a 'light railway' engineer. This up to now enables his extensive travel across the UK and Europe working for the leisure and industrial sectors. Along with his partner he helped manage a vineyard in the south of France for three years.

Valerie Bloomfield - Finance Manager
Valerie balances taking care of her young child and family with managing the finances of GLOBAL GENERATiON and running marathons around the world. having joined the team in 2007 she currently ensures that GLOBAL GENERATiON maintains the high level of financial efficiency it has managed to develop over the years."
Shanica Gilbert – Marketing, Fundraising and Research Manager
From Grenadian origin, Shanica is the youngest member of our team. She joined GLOBAL GENERATiON at the start of 2008 shortly after completing her Master’s in International Marketing Communications.
 
Paul Richens - Garden Design Facilitator
Paul has been a gardener and worm-botherer since his farming parents gave him his own plot aged three. Since then, professionally, he has worked variously as a scientific photographer at The Natural History Museum, a video producer/director in America and an account manager in Brentford, while privately growing organic vegetables in any small space provided by his (usually mean) London accommodation. Until recently he was Vice Chair for the Brentford Recycling Action Group, which included teaching good practice composting and worm farming in an attempt to stop people throwing away fertility.
