TRAINING
AND WORKSHOPS

We offer unique and rewarding team building and corporate leadership development days in the heart of King's Cross, London, as well as from our campsite on Pertwood Organic Farm in Wiltshire. Our corporate away days focus on participants exploring visions of leadership that make a positive difference to themselves and to our future, whilst developing a deeper connection with the local community and the natural world. Our experience shows that this is novel, challenging, enjoyable and rewarding for participants.

Here’s some that we've done already

"Feedback from staff has been overwhelmingly positive. They appreciate the opportunity to think in new ways, to experience the values of the Guardian and to  develop a connection with  the local community." Fiona McKellar, The Guardian's Sustainability Manager

Guardian 'New Starter Sustainability Days'

Each year new starters to the Guardian spend a day in the Skip Garden to embed sustainability in their everyday work.  They plant, cook and make in the garden and reflect on how they will bring the values experienced by working together back to the office.

"The outdoors, sunshine, nature, getting your hands dirty was genuine fun. It was good to learn from others and think about yourself and values in a much wider and more important context than just your company/job/department. I appreciated what amazing projects are going on outside typical corporate life, and how it is possible to give something back by doing and working together." Participant Eurostar

Eurostar 'Leadership Development Days'

The purpose of these days is to explore visions of leadership in the context of developing deeper connection with the whole business, with the local community and with the natural world.  Through a process of hands on doing and reflection using nature as inspiration, participants step out of their often fragmented ways of working to connect with each other and their wider environment.  See case study.

"I don’t think we realise we are part of something bigger, we all are essentially one ... Up until now it has been all about convenience for me but now I want to find a way to give back." Team Leader apprentice, Kier Construction
