Ciara Wilkinson
Community Engagement Officer

Spending many of her early years living in Camden, Ciara remembers King's Cross before the developments began. Working at the Skip Garden she feels she has come full-circle in the pursuit of her childhood interests in wildlife and natural history.

At school, she was never quite able to shake the habits of an amateur naturalist and went on to study Biodiversity Conservation and International Regulation at university.

Having always considered a career in conservation research or policy, a 6 month internship at Global Generation awakened a passion for teaching. Now working as part of the garden and educational teams, her work brings the values of the Skip Garden to the wider community. She wishes to insight the curiosity she felt towards the natural world as a child growing up in the city, with all those she works with.
