emma trueman

While studying History at university Emma felt drawn to environmental causes. She worked for the Open Air Laboratories, on nature reserves, in a natural history library, and has an ever-expanding curiosity for collaborative work to bring about environment change.

Having been an active gardener ever since Emma could hold a trowel she found herself as Garden Intern for Global Generation. She is now working as a gardener in Skip Garden and with local schools and communities, aiming to spark and nurture the human passion for the natural world that can surround us all – even in the middle of the developing King's Cross site.
