Film screening of Making a Community: the new Skip Garden

‘Making a Community’ is a film screening and Q&A about the making of the New Skip Garden. The film documents the first time in living memory that Bartlett students design and build a real project on a real site for a real client. The film focuses on the collaboration between Bartlett students and Global Generation, and the students’ design process capitalizing on a network of collaborators and local contractors. The project sets a precedent for how architecture can be taught, but it also sets a precedent for the role of architectural practise to engage and empower communities.
