'London Grows' is a campaign of events inspired by urban growing and the social projects behind it. Each event explores the different sides of the ingredients that are being grown in London. The environments in which they are grown, each project’s ethics, sustainability and social impact and amibition.
The second in the series of London Grows is an interactive and immersive event exhibiting the potential of urban ingredients out-door cookery. Seasonal produce sourced straight from the projects will be cooked in the open air and served in a spirited market stall style. Each stall will represent a different growing project in London, with produce cooked in a different outdoor method.People can aniticipate a urban salad stall, a woodfired bread stand, a charcoal vegetarian station, and an ice-cream table.
For this event we will be working with produce from: Organic Lea, Growing Communities, Forty Hall Farm, Cultivate London, Living Under one Sun, Crop Dropper, Wilde’s Cheese.
Tickets include 3 portions of market-stall food from any of the stalls and a glass of wine.
