open air lecture: the physics of life

The Institute of Physics will be holding this event in collaboration with the Francis Crick Institute. 

John Williamson, a theoretical Physicist at the Crick, will talk about how Physics underpins our understanding of life and how his work supports the world leading medical research conducted at the Crick. This will be preceded by hands on activities and entertainment around the garden provided by the Royal Society of Biology and the Institute of Physics. 

We will have physics and biology themed demos and experiments, as well as a meet the scientist area. To round off your evening there will be drinks, food and snacks for sale provide by The Skip Garden Kitchen.
