We're inviting you for a one time only vegan dessert tasting menu paired with cocktails. With 20% of our food not even leaving our farms due to either EU cosmetic standards, or seasonal gluts, or weather damage and a total of 40% of fresh food not even making it to the shops, the UK end up throwing away 10million tonnes of food every year.
That's why Andrew Sutton from a.dessertbar decided to collaborate with Urban Cordial to show you how much beauty can come out of this food, which is perfectly edible. The main ingredients from each course will be saved from the field and turned into tasty and quality goodness. All of the fruit used to make the cordials going into the cocktails are 100% surplus fruits.
The cost of the ticket includes a four course mouth watering dessert tasting menu (completely vegan). Each course will be paired with a perfect cocktail to match! Each guest will also be going home with a goody bag of treats all made from food surplus to show you some of the amazing things being done to help this cause.
