Dining in the Garden: Supper Club Series

  • Paper Garden Teredo Street London, England, SE16 7LD United Kingdom (map)

Drink, eat and be merry for a good cause - creating new urban green community spaces in London.

Eat well.

Drink delicious beverages.

Explore a community garden space after hours.

Our supper club series raises funds for our charity while also bringing together like minded people for a night of connection over food.

Please join us for an amazing evening Friday, Sept 18, 2026, 6:30 p.m. at the Paper Garden in support of Global Generation. Come enjoy an evening of drinks, food by chef Safiya Robinson (sisterwoman), and music, all while supporting the charity.

About the Menu

Guests will be welcomed with canapes and a seasonal cocktail while they explore the garden. The evening will centre around a three course meal featuring high quality produce and provisions and incorporating open fire cooking. Wine or soft drink alternatives will be served throughout the meal. The menu will highlight seasonal produce and will accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies received by September 7. Please include these for your entire party if you purchase tickets on behalf of someone else.

Chef Safiya Robinson

Safiya Robinson, also known as sisterwoman, is a chef, writer, and cultural facilitator exploring the use of food as a relational technology of care. Drawing on Black Atlantic food traditions informed by her Black American, Jamaican, and British roots, her culinary focus centres modern soul food through a distinctly London lens.

Through workshops, participatory meals, and research, she designs embodied experiences grounded in her philosophy of Intentional Nourishment: the practice of using food and shared ritual to cultivate dignity, pleasure, and meaningful connection. She also hosts and produces The Intentional Nourishment Podcast which expands this work through dialogue with other thinkers and makers.

Safiya’s practice spans restaurants, festivals, museums, and cultural institutions, with collaborations across South London Gallery, Soho House, The Africa Centre, and more. Her year‐long residency at Moko Tottenham was named London’s best vegan restaurant by Time Out. She has been recognised by Code Hospitality as one of the Top 100 Women in Hospitality (2021) and featured in their 30 Under 30 list (2024). Recent highlights include guest‐cheffing at We Out Here Festival 2025 and hosting her first international supper club in Berlin.
