Join our youth leadership programme and explore how you can bring about positive change for people, animals and the planet.
Have you ever slept under a starry sky? Have you ever used a drill or a handsaw? Have you cooked with edible flowers like dandelions and made a meal for the community? Have you ever felt your creativity and imagination can make an impact through poems, photos, performances and songs?
Whether you care about nature or social justice, whether you want to make new friends, build new skills and confidence, whether you want to figure out what you’re passionate about, at Global Generation we want to inspire you in a journey of discovery about yourself, your community and the Planet.
In the magic of our co-created spaces, we garden, cook, build, eat and tell stories together. We pause and slow down. We talk, share ideas and grow together. We embrace differences and we dream of a just and greener world.
Through our youth leadership programmes, you will work with local businesses, universities, artists, ecologists, theatre companies, go on summer camps, take part in volunteering opportunities and gain valuable experience also for your DoE, UCAS and CV.

20 young people, 38 sessions, four public events and a three day residential. The young people ran the annual winter market, had a meaningful collaboration with UCL, performed at the Grant museum of Zoology as part of the Performing Planet Activism Event and co designed the exterior canopy of the upper decking and worked on the biodiverse green areas on and around the barge.
15 young people, 45 sessions, opportunities in four public events and a three day summer residential in the countryside of East Sussex. The young people engaged in gardening as well as hands-on activities—like crafting, woodworking,
pottery, or cooking. We also had fruitful collaborations with Chickenshed, Heatherwick, Voices Radio and Alveole.
